With over 14 years experience tuning and repairing pianos, Jay has logged hundreds of hours making the world we live in sound better. In the process, gaining hundreds of pleased clients.
With music as his first love, Jay started studying piano tuning at the young age of 15. This first interest in the world of piano tuning came out of necessity. Jay obtained his first piano from a family friend. This hundred year old gift desperately needed an overhaul. That moment changed this young man forever. Being completely obsessed with becoming the best tuner he could be, Jay started tuning pianos for friends and family members for the experience. Then Jay started spending time with a piano tuner that took him under his wing and taught him everything he had learned in his career of tuning and repairing pianos.
Jay soon started his own business. Priding himself on quality and value, Jay has tuned for families, grade schools, high schools, piano teachers, colleges, churches, and concert halls.

Piano tuning information:
It’s recommended that pianos be tuned once every 6 months. This is a good schedule for a home piano to be on, though performance pianos may need tunings on a more frequent schedule.
Tunings can be scheduled to your convenience. Availability includes business hours, evenings, and weekends. You'll find Jay's rates to be very competitive with local market prices.
Special rates are available for Churches, Member’s of Churches, Piano Teachers, and Piano Students.

Standard tuning $80.00
Pitch raise (used for pianos that haven't been tuned for 3+ years) $80.00
Discounts available for churches, their members, piano teachers and students. Please call for details and a price quote.
Most tunings are strictly the prices listed above, though some additional charges may need to be added if other work is required such as broken strings, or other repairs. Standard mileage fees apply to all tunings for the one way trip to your piano.
